There are a variety of compensation plans in the network marketing world.Do a full investigation before signing on the dotted line.  I’ve had experience in a couple but my new favorite, by far, is the Binary Compensation Plan.  Here’s why:

Easy to Understand: I’m a pretty simple guy and I like a plan that is easily understood.Binary compensation plans are pretty easy to outline to prospective reps.You can either put new reps on your left or your right.  Pretty easy, right? Keep it even simpler by telling new reps to place OUTSIDE left or OUTSIDE right.It can depend on the prevailing strategy in your network marketing company.I think the simplicity of binary compensation overshadows any possible downside.

Two Teams: In a binary compensation plan you only have two legs.  That means you can devote time as you see fit and drive growth in the shorter leg if needed (always consult your upline leadership regarding the property placement of new members).Shoot, you get a superstar on one side that grows a huge downline and then you only have to focus on the other side!

Help From Above: You can take advantage of the growth of your upline’s organization.  If you get in at the right time you can ride the coat tails of those above you.  Again, it all depends on where your upline is placing new members, but you could realistically get a huge power boost by not even lifting a finger.

Grow The Bottom: The focus of many binary compensation plans is to work the bottom of each leg.What’s the result?  It motivates the brand new guys and gals and it lights a fire under the old timers.How does this motivate new reps?Your team will focus on getting new reps off to a fast start .Assist them in the growth of their business.

Synergy: Pretend you just sponsored Brian.Brian may be a future MLM Leader but, up to this point, hasn’t put much into growing his business.  Well, as you grow your business you’re naturally growing his.  Why?  Because depending on which leg he’s on, at some point you will have to put new members under him.What’s the result?  That starts the growth of his business.  At some point he should take a look at his business and realize, “Holy crap! There are 390 people on my left leg! I’m a big fan of this binary compensation plan!” He should get what he’s missing out on is he doesn’t work on his short leg.  Try sending Brian a quick email saying, “Congratulations on the growth of your business.” See if any spark is lit.

The synergy that is created can be infectious.  Literally you can have a group utilizing the binary compensation plan and everyone is working together to build the collective team.  Awesome!

Build A Business Around What You Used To Do As An Employee

Earning extra income from an online business may be as simple as utilizing skills that you may already have so an evaulation of your skillset is first needed.  Using simple skills you may have developed previously at an office job or even domestic chores, an internet marketing work at home income business can be started and grown.

Money has always been made in retail sales but now a fast growing segment of these sales are in online store sales rather than traditional brick and  mortart storefront businesses. So that is the first of the internet ideas, selling products on the web. One thing has to be mentioned as a word of caution really,  is that some suppliers of these products to sell online are here today, gone tomorrow. At first new suppliers can make what seems lke a overwhelming legitimate presentation especially with websites but in practice deliveries and products fail and the suplier disappears or goes out of business.  Note an important point to check first to weed out the bad ones. If they ask for upfront fees or to buy product first in bulk, be wary. While this could be a valid practice for some business applications, it’s a sign for new work from home internet business owners to stay away.

With the risk involoved in some new internet ideas, it would be wise to focus on your individual talents, maybe even hobbies or crafts to build a business model around. In your own past experience, maybe you have developed excellent communication and supervisory skills from a managing job. For an example of this,  I know some ladies that did not have any money to start a business who just put together power point presentations of training sessions they gave at work. But now they make them available for the world on the internet in as membership site, pretty cool. If you are an accountant, help people with taxes. A former, laid off or even working engineer could just write six sigma or lean advice in an eBook.

There are hundreds of other internet business ideas based on your skills or newly developed skills. People do fantastic with SEO and internet marketing after watching video tutorials. Check out some successful internet businesses and see what fits you for work from home income and stick with it. If you are a good friendly communicator who loves to talk on the phone especially, you may be suited to succeeding in network marketing, really. On the other hand, you can sit at a coffee shop or your home and succeed wildly in any one of many internet based  home business ideas and never talk to anyone, well you have to send some email.

Have You Heard About The Hemp Network?

There is always new network marketing companies popping up all over the place, some good and some bad. I’m sure you have heard of the hemp plant and some of the ways it helps people in many different ways, it’s not readily available everywhere. Mostly due to the legal status of the product. If the Hemp Network takes off then that may all change and more people will have access to hemp products!

 

There have been quite a few people trying to stoke my interest into joining this opportunity so I thought I would take a look. Most of you reading my post may not have heard of it yet. From what I can gather they intend to sell Hemp products through a Network Marketing business model, LOL!

 

This is definitely different for sure, how will they overcome the legal control in many countries of this product? Well we shall see, I wouldn’t have thought for one minute that I would see such a thing in the MLM industry. It will be interesting to see if the FDA gets wind of this and closes it down. Who knows, maybe they will get to like the products.

 

The Hemp Network is a new branch of Medical Marijuana Inc which was originally founded in March 2009. This company was the idea of Bruce Perlowin and Don Steinberg, the headquarters are in California. Interestingly Bruce has previously done time inside for smuggling pot into the west coast, it seems he wants to do things correctly this time around.

 

The general aim is to increase awareness of the positive benefits of the Hemp plant, distribute their products globally and build a network marketing company in the process. The company is due to officially pre-launch around July time, they are currently in ’soft-launch’ so it is possible to enrol if you can find a sponsor. If you want to get in early it will cost you 100 dollars, this will get you an enrolment and a basket of products for you to sample. This isn’t a bad price actually to get into an MLM company, especially if it takes off.

 

Those who join now will be placed in the power leg (yes this is a binary!) so if the whole project is a success you would do well out of it. Personally I’m not sure if it will work, plus I have my heard earned credibility to consider, so for now I will procrastinate on this one and remain an onlooker.

 

If a binary is a new concept to you then I must stress that you do your homework and figure out exactly how they work, they can be lucrative but you need to build them right and balance both sides of your organisation. This is also true for qualifying for spillover commissions. The chance of free spillover payouts often is used in presentations designed to recruit.

 

As far as marketing systems and materials, I have no knowledge of what the Hemp Network is bringing to the table

 

As with most MLM companies the coaching they give often isn’t really what network marketers need to be successful. It’s only those who already ‘get’ how to do network marketing properly that will be raking in any sums of cash worth speaking of.

 

This is certainly an interesting opportunity and one to ‘watch this space’
